The Colorado River

The newly created River Park is an investment from the City of Grand Junction to create a river experience that is accessible to a wide range of ages, ability, and experience levels. The River Park is a lengthy and accessible water channel that includes two standing water features as well as beach and wading areas. Riverfront Zip Adventures

Riverfront Zip Adventures offers thrilling zipline rides over the Colorado River! From Camp Eddy, look for the 2 white zipline towers that make up the zipline. One of the towers is in Eagle Rim park where the zipline starts, and the other tower is just across from the butterfly pond. Delight in this family friendly outdoor adventure experience and enjoy this side-by-side dual racing zipline!

The Amphitheater at Las Colonias Park

A short 5 minute walk away from Camp Eddy is the Las Colonias Amphitheater, which boasts music and performances from top performers! When you stay at Camp Eddy, you avoid all of the hassle of parking, traffic, and ride-share apps… all of the parts of attending a concert that are not very fun! Instead, book a Tiny Home, Airstream, or RV Site, and make the easy walk from Camp Eddy to Las Colonias Amphitheater. Mountain Biking

Whether you are a new or advanced mountain biker, there are trails for everyone. Camp Eddy is close to multiple riding sites. A few staff favorites are shuttling the Palisade Plunge, riding the trails at Fruita, or taking some turns at Lunch Loops. The desert landscape around Grand Junction is primed for OHV and four-wheeling adventures and there is a huge network of trails to explore.
