What is Camp Eddy?

Camp Eddy is the premier place to stay in Grand Junction with Tiny Homes, Airstream Glamping, and RV Sites. Guests enjoy riverside access to rafting, swimming, paddling, walkability to restaurants and breweries, and a short drive to countless wineries and outdoor adventures!

What type of person should visit Camp Eddy?

Camp Eddy is the perfect destination for all types of people. Whether you visit for our access to restaurants and wineries, or swimming and mountain biking, or music at the amphitheater - we have something for everyone!

Are you dog friendly?

Yes! We love having dogs stay with us. We have no breed restrictions and have an on-site dog park. Please pick up after your dog and keep them leashed while on site.

Dog Fee: A $50 dog fee must be added for Tiny Home and Airstream stays. This pet fee is for up to 2 dogs. There is no fee for dogs in our RV Park.

When you and your pet stay with us, you’ll receive out pet pack, which includes milk bone treats, a doggy sheet, a water bowl, and spill mat for your convenience throughout the stay!

When is the front office/store open?

Monday - Sunday : 10:00am-7:00pm

What should I bring for my Tiny Home or Airstream stay?

All Tiny Homes and Airstreams are equipped with everything you need for an overnight stay! You can expect linens, soaps and shampoo, and kitchen essentials.

How far is Camp Eddy from the Amphitheater at Las Colonias Park?

Enjoy a scenic and quick 0.5 mile walk along the river to access the Amphitheater at Las Colonias Park! See your favorite acts and avoid the crowds, parking, and ride shares when you stay at Camp Eddy.

Do you offer monthly rates?

We offer a 28 day stay rate for RV Sites from October through March. If you are interested, please visit our Monthly Stay page for pricing and to fill out our inquiry form.

When you book 7+ nights or more in any accommodation, you will receive a discount. From October through March, you will receive an automatic 20% off of your stay. During all other months, you will receive 10% off of your stay.

What are the maximum RV lengths allowed?

Back in RV Site: 50 foot max - includes rig and vehicle

Pull-thru RV Site: 60 foot max - includes rig and vehicle

Big Rig Pull-thru RV Site: 60 foot max - includes rig and vehicle

Can I pick my RV Site?

Yes, you may select a specific site upon booking. Camp Eddy reserves the right to make changes as necessary.

Is Tent Camping Allowed?

We do not allow tent camping. We recommend taking a look at Visit Grand Junction’s page on local campsites where tent camping is allowed.

Are fires allowed?

As an urban campground in Las Colonias Park, we only allow fires in our fire pits (located at each pull-in site) or in enclosed fire pits brought by guests. These must be self contained and not produce ashes on the ground. We also encourage guests to enjoy our community gas fire pit on the outdoor patio of The Hub.

What qualifies for the Van/Camper Sites?

Guests can reserve a van/camper site and stay in their car if it has been intended for sleeping and is self-contained (ex: camper vans, truck campers, rooftop tents). Unfortunately, this does not include regular sized vehicles with the seats down or truck beds. If you are unsure if your setup will be allowed, please call our front office.

Does Camp Eddy have a pool?

Camp Eddy does not feature a pool on its premises. However, guests have access to nearby Butterfly Ponds for paddling, as well as the Colorado River for swimming and water-based activities. It is important to note that Camp Eddy is not affiliated with Butterfly Ponds, although they are open to public use.

When do reservations open for next year?

Our reservations are released 6 months out.

Is there any parking available for my trailer?

Trailer parking is subject to availability and there may be an additional cost. We recommend checking with our front office in advance.

Can I use the scooters around Camp Eddy?

While you may see Lime and Byrd Scooters parked around Camp Eddy, they are unaffiliated but available for your use. Download the app and get to scootin’!

Which ponds are suitable for dogs?

None of the surrounding ponds are part of Camp Eddy property. They are open for the public to use upon availability. Please check the signs by the ponds to confirm, they are dog friendly.

Where can I fish?

There is no fishing allowed in the ponds around Camp Eddy. Fishing is allowed in the river as long as you have a current fishing license. Fishing is accessible on the west side of Camp Eddy next to the boat ramp or on the rocks that line the river along the property.
